Clariant is Favorite to Acquire Süd-Chemie Stake

Clariant is the frontrunner to acquire One Equity Partners' (OEP) controlling 50.41% stake in Süd-Chemie (Munich), according to reports quoting sources involved with the proposed transaction. Clariant and Mitsui Chemicals are the last remaining bidders for the Süd-Chemie stake and Clariant is expected to be the chosen buyer, the reports say.
