McNab: Big hike in RFID tag sales. Ciba says it has begun offering its XYMARA Electra range of conductive electronic inks to manufacturers for use in the rapidly growing field of printed electronics. Product applications include: radio frequency identification (RFID) antennae for tracking products; packaging; and graphic arts. “Ciba is the first European-based multinational company to supply conductive inks,” says Mike Mordente, global head of Ciba’s imaging and inks business line.
