Chinese Firm Acquires U.K. Fibers

China National Bluestar Corp. (Beijing) has acquired Fibres Worldwide (Grimsby, U.K.), a maker of polyacrylonitrile (PAN), and renamed the business Bluestar Fibres, reports say.
