Chemtura Organometallics Completes Expansion Project in Germany

Chemtura Organometallics has announced the official start up of a world-scale expansion project for AXION MAO methylaluminoxane, used as polymerization co-catalysts in single-site catalyst technologies, at its Bergkamen, Germany manufacturing site.   The methylaluminoxane is fully back integrated to trimethylaluminum (TMA), which is produced at the site. “This critical TMA feedstock, as well as our container fleet, are continuously being adjusted to satisfy the growing market demand,” says Ulrich Stewen, general manager of Chemtura and president...
