Celanese Earnings Advance 17%

Celanese posted third-quarter earnings of $128 million after market close on Monday, an increase of 17% over the year-ago quarter, “driven by continued strong operating performance across the company and increased earnings from affiliates,” Celanese says. Adjusted earnings for the third quarter were 73 cts/share, compared with 71 cts/share in the year-ago period.
