Cefic: EU regulations hinder industry's competitiveness

Kurt Bock, chairman of BASF, was elected as the new president of Cefic on 28 September 2012 at the Cefic annual meeting in London. He has a two-year term as president, and succeeds Giorgio Squinzi, CEO of Mapei Group. Bock gave his first address as Cefic president at the annual meeting, and outlined his goals for the next two years, concentrating on sustainability, innovation, and competitiveness.
