Bayer, Arkema to Raise Prices

Bayer MaterialScience (BMS) and Arkema have each raised prices for certain product lines to offset the continuing increase in energy and raw material costs. BMS says it will raise prices for polymeric and monomeric methylene di-para-phenylene diisocyanate (MDI) and MDI derivatives in Africa, Europe, and the Mideast by €.08/kg (12 cts/kg), effective June 16.
