BASF Plant Science reformulates platform, ends enhanced corn research

BASF’s Plant Science business sector announced several changes in its platform, which the company says is aimed to strengthen its focus on plant biotechnology solutions to achieve higher yield in plants. BASF says it will expand its fungal resistance research platform by adding corn as a target crop, as well as cease research activities in nutritionally enhanced corn and end the European approval process for potato products.
