Arkema’s Third-Quarter Profits Rise

Arkema reported net income up 68%, to €37 million ($54 million), on sales down about 1%, to €1.38 billion. Recurring operating income rose 50%, to €75 million, and Ebitda rose 26%, to €127 million. The vinyl products division’s Ebitda doubled, to €18 million, on sales of €335 million. Sales were unchanged compared to year-ago levels, Arkema says.
