Arkema’s Full-Year Earnings Rise; Plans Hydrogen Peroxide Expansion

Arkema reported fourth-quarter 2007 net income of €18 million ($27.3 million) compared to a loss of €14 million. Sales slipped by less than 1%, to €1.3 billion. Ebitda rose 41%, to €107 million, and increased in all business segments. Full-year 2007 net income almost tripled to €122 million, on sales up less than 1%, to €5.7 billion.
