Arkema’s First Quarter net Income Rises

Arkema reported first-quarter net income up 64%, to €72 million ($111 million), on sales of €1.5 billion, flat compared to the year ago period. Operating income excluding non-recurring items rose 25%, to €100 million, and Ebitda rose 19%, to €159 million.
