Arkema Beefs Up Chemicals; Eyes Acquisition of Acrylics Assets

Arkema will decide next year on several investments that it is contemplating for its industrial chemicals segment, CW has learned. The company could also be interested in acquiring acrylics assets that the U.S. FTC is expected to ask Dow Chemical and Rohm and Haas (R&H) to divest before giving the green light to Dow’s planned acquisition of R&H.
