Regions :: Western Europe Altana Closes Wolstenholme Deal1:26 PM MDT | September 11, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Altana says it has completed the previously announced €24-million ($33 million) acquisition of Wolstenholme Group’s (Darwen, U.K.) effect pigments business (CW, June 27, p. 5). The acquisition agreement was signed in June. The Wolstenholme effect pigments business generated 2006 sales of about €29 million. Altana says it will not take over Wolstenholme’s production plants.
