AkzoNobel CEO Takes Leave of Absence

AkzoNobel says its newly appointed CEO Ton Büchner is taking a leave of absence because he has been diagnosed with temporary fatigue. He is expected to recover and be able to return to work in the first half of October, the company says. Meanwhile, the company's CFO, Keith Nichols, will coordinate and be first point of contact on the executive committee, AkzoNobel says.
