Air Liquide to Buy Home Health-Care Firm in Spain

Air Liquide says it has agreed to acquire Gasmedi (Madrid), the third-biggest player in Spain's home health-care sector. "Once completed, this transaction would enable Air Liquide to gain full control of Gasmedi for an enterprise value of €330 million," Air Liquide says. The proposed deal is subject to approval by Spain's competition authority and it is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2012.
