Air Liquide signs major gases supply contract with ThyssenKrupp Steel

Air Liquide announced today that it signed a major, long-term contract with ThyssenKrupp Steel Europe to supply industrial gases to the steel maker. Under the terms of the agreement, Air Liquide will deliver 4,600 m.t./day of oxygen, nitrogen, and argon to ThyssenKrupp’s steelworks in the Duisburg, Germany, area. The region is the largest steel producer in Europe, supplying the automotive industry in Germany.
