EU-US trade talks begin in Washington; ACC confirms support

The first round of talks between the European Union and United States to form a transatlantic trade and investment partnership (TTIP)  began yesterday in Washington and will continue until the end of the week. "We are glad that the beginning of the Lithuanian presidency of the Council of the European Union will be marked by an event that is very significant for the global economy.
