3M Subsidiary Breaks Ground on Pilot Plant to Recycle PTFE

Dyneon, a 3M subsidiary, has broken ground on a project to build a pilot plant for recycling polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The project is at Dyneon's Gendorf site in the German state of Bavaria. The plant will have capacity to recycle 500 m.t./year of PTFE waste, converting it back into full-value raw materials.
