Regions :: Southeast Asia :: Thailand Ube Builds Large Nylon-6 Resins Plant in Thailand12:43 PM MDT | July 26, 2007 | Chemical Week Editorial Staff Ube Industries says it will build a 50,000-m.t./year nylon-6 resins plant at its Ube Nylon (Thailand) complex at Bangkok by October 2009. The company’s existing nylon-6 capacity there is 25,000 m.t./year. Ube, one of the leading nylon-6 producers, says the new capacity will cater to increasing demand in China and the rest of Asia, where the market is growing at about 10%/year.
