Regions :: Southeast Asia :: Thailand Toray Plant in Ayutthaya, Thailand to Restart in March 201212:15 AM MST | December 12, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh Toray Industries says that the Ayutthaya, Thailand plant of the company’s Thai Toray Synthetics (TTS; Bangkok) subsidiary, which stopped operating on October 6, 2011 as a result of the recent floods, is expected to restart by the end of March 2012. The Ayutthaya plant produces nylon yarns for industrial use and polyester yarn for apparels. Restoration work at the site began on November 28.
