Teijin to build novel meta-aramid fiber plant in Thailand

Teijin announced today that it will invest ¥4.5 billion ($45 million) in a plant in Thailand, which will produce a new type of meta-aramid fiber. The newly developed product offers “the world's highest level of heat resistance combined with excellent dyeablility,” Teijin says.
