Technip Awarded Contract for Rubber Composites Plant in Thailand

Technip says it has been awarded a lump sum turnkey engineering, procurement and construction contract by tire manufacturer Michelin Siam Co. (Bangkok) for a new elastomer composite plant to be built in the Southern Region Industrial Estate, in Songkhla Province, Thailand. The contract covers preliminary engineering, detailed engineering, project management, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning, and start-up assistance.
