PTT to Merge PTT Chemical and PTT Aromatics and Refining

Energy company PTT (Bangkok) has confirmed that its board of directors has approved the merger between PTT Aromatics and Refining and PTT Chemical. The merger will create a new company, which will be positioned as PTT’s petrochemical flagship with petrochemical production capacity of 8.2 million m.t./year and petroleum products capacity of 228,000 barrels/day.
