PTT Global Chemical to appoint new CEO

PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC; Bangkok), Thailand’s largest chemical company majority owned by the country’s energy major PTT, will appoint Supattanapong Punmeechaow, currently a PTT v.p., as the new president and CEO of PTTGC. He will succeed Bowon Vongsinudom, who is scheduled to retire on 1 October at age 60. PTTGC tells CW that PTT has already approved the appointment of Punmeechaow, but the PPTGC board has yet to follow. The board will meet in September. Vongsinudom was on secondment from PTT and will retire on 30 September after one...
