PTT Global Chemical and Myriant form Auria BioChemicals joint venture

The board of PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC; Bangkok) has approved the formation of a joint venture with Myriant Corp. (Quincy, MA) to commercialize bio-based technology in Southeast Asia. The joint venture, Auria BioChemicals Co., was registered in Thailand on 3 May 2013 with a registered capital of 90 million Thai baht ($3 million). PTTGC holds 54% in Auria with Myriant holding the remainder.
