PTT Chemical and PTT Aromatics and Refining - subsidiaries of energy company PTT (Bangkok) - plan to hold a joint shareholders meeting on October 18, 2011 at Bangkok, to decide the details of their previously announced merger. PTT announced earlier this year that it has approved the merger between the two subsidiaries, and that the merged company will be the largest integrated petrochemical and refining company in Thailand.
