PPG Declares Force Majeure Due to Flooding in Thailand

PPG Industries says it has declared force majeure on certain optical products due to the impact of flooding on its Bang Pa-In and Lat Krabang, Thailand manufacturing facilities. While PPG’s Chon Buri, Thailand transition optical facility is unaffected, several customers in the flooding districts have curtailed operations, the company says. “The significant flooding has severely affected our ability to provide products to our customers.
