NatureWorks seeking soft loans to establish bioplastics industry in Thailand

The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI; Bangkok) is seeking soft loans from the government to help establish a bioplastics industry in Thailand. The FTI is meeting with the Finance Ministry and other authorities to consider the loans program, which would create 100-billion baht ($3.1 billion) bioplastics industry in Thailand, says Viboon Pungprasert, general manager/Asia/Pacific at NatureWorks.
