Evonik completes expansion of precipitated silica capacity in Thailand

Evonik Industries says it has completed the previously announced expansion of production capacity for precipitated silica at the company’s production site at Map Ta Phut. The expansion involved an investment in the lower double-digit million-euro range. With this expansion, Evonik has increased its capacity for precipitated silica for the automotive, food and animal feed, and paints and coatings industries.
