Regions :: Southeast Asia :: Thailand Dow to Build Propylene Glycol Plant in Thailand11:28 AM MST | December 17, 2010 | Lindsey Bewley Dow Chemical says it plans to build a 150,000-m.t./year propylene glycol (PG) plant at Map Ta Phut, Thailand. The new PG facility will use propylene oxide (PO) derived from Dow’s hydrogen peroxide to propylene oxide (HPPO) joint venture currently under construction at Map Ta Phut. Engineering and construction of the PG plant is expected to start in 2011 and will start up in 2013, the company tells CW.
