Dow Readying Specialty Elastomers Plant in Thailand

SCG-Dow Group, a Dow Chemical and Siam Cement (Bangkok) joint venture, says its world-scale specialty elastomers plant at Map Ta Phut, Thailand is targeted to begin commercial operation on June 1, 2011. The new facility will add dedicated capacity to meet growing worldwide customer demand for a full range of elastomer products, Dow says.
