The jv has broken ground on the propylene oxide (PO) facility, Dow says. It will have nameplate capacity for 390,000 m.t./year of PO, using novel HPPO technology jointly developed by Dow and BASF. The PO plant will also include a propylene glycol unit and is expected onstream in 2011. BASF says that it is finalizing negotiations with Dow on “regional product exchange...
