Vencorex to build Tolonate HDI plant in Thailand

Vencorex, a joint venture between Perstorp and PTT Global Chemical, said today that it plans to expand capacity for Tolonate hexamethylene diisocyanate (HDI) derivatives by building a production plant in Thailand. The new plant will be ready to serve the Asian market in 2015.   “We want to strengthen our global position, and our presence in Asia will be a significant stepping stone, among others,” said Magnus Lanner, CEO.
