Zeon to Build SBBR Plant in Singapore

Zeon Chemicals (Tokyo) is building a new Solution Polymerized Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SSBR) plant at Jurong Island, Singapore, the company announced today. The plant will use a solution polymerization process and have a capacity of 60,000 to 80,000 m.t./year to be completed in roughly equal phases. It is expected to be operational in July of 2013.
