Wilmar to Build Natural Alcohol Plant in the Netherlands

Huntsman Corp. says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with agribusiness firm Wilmar International (Singapore) for Wilmar to build a natural alcohol plant at Huntsman's chemical site at Rozenburg, the Netherlands, and to supply natural alcohols to Huntsman. The plant will be owned and operated by Wilmar, and it is expected to come onstream in 2013. The project is subject to receipt of relevant permits and regulatory approvals.
