Wacker Chemie Restructures Siltronic and Silicones; Cuts Jobs

Wacker Chemie has embarked on a site optimization program at its Wacker Siltronic silicon wafers manufacturing subsidiary, which aims to consolidate production according to the wafers' diameters. In addition, it is looking at costs savings in its silicones business.
