Sumitomo Chemical opens SSBR plant in Singapore

Sumitomo Chemical on Friday held an official inauguration ceremony for its solution-styrene butadiene rubber (SSBR) plant at Jurong Island, Singapore. The product is used to make fuel-efficient tires.   The plant, designed to produce 40,000 m.t./year of SSBR, will serve customers in Asia, Europe and North America. Singapore's Second Minister for Trade and Industry S.
