Stone & Webster Confirms Singapore Cracker Contract

Shaw Stone & Webster (S&W) has confirmed CW’s report that it has been awarded a contract to build ExxonMobil Chemical’s previously announced second olefins complex in Singapore (CW, July 25, p. 17). S&W will provide technology as well as engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services on a lump sum turnkey basis for the olefins plant, with the exception of the plant’s furnaces, which will use ExxonMobil’s technology and be delivered by Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES) in cooperation with Heurtey Petrochem...
