Shell builds lube plant in Singapore

Shell says its Shell Eastern Petroleum (Singapore) subsidiary is building a new lube oil blending plant and a grease manufacturing plant at Tuas, Singapore. Construction on the project began last month. When completed, Shell’s new lube oil blending plant and grease manufacturing plant at Tuas will replace its existing facility at Woodlands North, Singapore, and will also have an increased capacity of about 40%. The Tuas plants will produce Shell’s major brands—like Helix, Advance, Rimula, Tellus, Spirax, and Omala—to supply its customers...
