Petronas to Build Urea Complex

Petronas Chemicals (Kuala Lumpur) has confirmed previously announced plans to build a $1.2-billion fertilizer complex. It says it will construct a urea plant with capacity for 1.2 million m.t./year in the Malaysian state of Sabah, on the island of Borneo. Construction of the plant will start in the second quarter of 2012 with commissioning slated for 2015, the company says...
