Malaysia Sees a Rise in Chemical Investments and Exports

Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI; Kuala Lumpur) says that the chemical industry in the country is seeing robust growth and total value of exports of chemical products from Malaysia reached RM35.4 billion ($11.3 billion) in the first nine months of 2011. The value of exports of chemical products from Malaysia totaled RM40.7 billion in 2010, an increase of 19% compared with 2009.
