Firefighters continue to fight the fire, which started yesterday. Shell says it is working closely with the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) to contain the fire. The units in the vicinity of the fire incident remain shut down as a precaution, and as a precautionary measure, only essential staff remains on Bukom Island, Shell says.
