Huntsman to expand polyetheramine capacity by at least 15%

Huntsman Corp.'s performance products division will expand its global polyetheramines (PEA) capacity by a minimum of 15% as a result of debottlenecking three manufacturing plants, the company announced. Financial investment and capacity figures were not disclosed. Expansion is currently underway at the three sites: Conroe, TX; Llanelli, UK; and Singapore. The company expects the additional capacity to be fully operational by May 2014.
