Evonik Reports Strong Third Quarter, Expects Record Earnings for Full 2010

Evonik Industries says strong global demand for its products and high capacity utilization rates have lifted the company's third quarter results. Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (Ebitda) was up 18% to €744 million ($1.02 billion) in the third quarter of this year on sales 24% higher at €4.1 billion.
