The new 20,000-m.t./year plant, subject to the approval of relevant bodies, will be built in Singapore and is expected to be completed by 2014, Evonik says. Evonik's existing nylon-12 capacity at Marl, Germany is currently offstream following an explosion and fire at the site's cyclododecatriene (CDT) plant on March 31.
