BASF-Petronas JV confirms aroma ingredients project in Malaysia

The board of BASF–Petronas Chemicals (BPC), a 60-40 joint venture, has approved the final investment decision and agreed to invest 1.5 billion ringgit ($462 million) to build a previously announced integrated aroma ingredients complex at Gebeng, near Kuantan, Malaysia, according to a company filing with the Bursa Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur) dated today.
