Denka opens PVC fiber plant in Singapore

Denka Advantech Synthetic Fiber (Singapore), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Denka Chemicals Holdings Asia Pacific (Singapore) says it has today opened its first polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fiber plant outside of Japan — at Tuas, Singapore. Denka Chemicals Holdings Asia Pacific is part of Denki Kagaku Kogyo Kabushiki Kaisha (Denka; Tokyo) group. The Singapore manufacturing plant will produce Toyokalon, a proprietary product of the Denka group used mainly for hair products like wigs, weaves and braids.
