Vopak Acquires Chemical Terminal in Indonesia

Vopak says it has reached an agreement with Mitsui & Co to acquire 95% stake in a chemical import terminal PT Pro-Intercontinental Terminals Indonesia, located at Merak Port. Financial details were not disclosed. The terminal handles the import of liquid chemical products and provides storage and transhipment services, Vopak says. The terminal consists of 33 tanks with a total storage capacity of 76,900 cu meters.
