Regions :: Southeast Asia :: Indonesia Syngenta to Build Seeds Processing Plant in Indonesia2:46 AM MDT | October 26, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Syngenta says its Syngenta Indonesia subsidiary has broken ground on a new corn seeds processing plant at Pasuruan in East Java, Indonesia. The facility, which will be built with an initial investment of $26 million, will have a capacity to process 5,700 m.t./year of seeds. The plant is expected to become operational in the second half of 2011. When complete, the seeds processing facility will have drying, conditioning, packing and warehousing capabilities, and will also have the option to expand its processing capacity to 23,000 m.t./year.
