PTTGC and Pertamina form Indo Thai Trading, joint petchem project delayed until 2020

Pertamina (Jakarta) and PTT Global Chemical (PTTGC; Bangkok) have launched Indo Thai Trading (ITT; Jakarta), a first step in their proposed petrochemical manufacturing collaboration. ITT will seed the market by selling polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and monoethylene glycol (MEG) from the two partners until their previously announced joint venture manufacturing complex comes online in 2020, two years later than originally planned. ITT will also become the trading arm of the new complex, which is targeted at Indonesia’s burgeoning petrochemicals...
